Local Town Election Information

2021 local town election

The local Annual Town Election is June 8, 2021.  All four precincts will vote at Birchland Park Middle, 50 Hanward Hill on June 8 from 7am to 8pm.  (Click here if you don't know which precinct you are in.)

There are three candidates running for two open seats on Town Council, two candidates running for one seat on School Committee, and ballot questions regarding the proposed amendments to the Charter.  Click here to view a sample ballot.  Information regarding the Charter amendments will be mailed to every East Longmeadow household with a registered voter, and you can download that mailing information here.  The full Charter showing the proposed amendments is here.

Early mail in voting is allowed for this election.  Please download a Vote by Mail application if you wish to vote by mail, and return it to the Clerk's Office to receive your Mail In ballot.  Early in person voting will not be offered for this election.

East Longmeadow is following Covid guidelines for the election, which means that masks are required for entering the polling location, and we will be sanitizing the voting booths and each voter will receive their own pen to mark their ballot with.
